WaveSpeed AI and its underlying cloud infrastructure providers process your content only to generate or edit the media you request and are required to apply appropriate safeguards and delete or anonymize personal data when it is no longer needed for this purpose.

6.1 What face data is processed
If the media you provide (such as photos or frames from video) contains faces, the following information may be processed:
– The visual appearance of your face (or other faces) in the image (the image pixels).
– Facial expressions and movements derived from the image when used to generate or edit media.
We do not create or maintain biometrics such as face templates or faceprints for identification or authentication.
6.2 How face data is used
Face-related data is used only for media generation or editing purposes, such as:
– Generating AI media outputs (e.g., music videos or images) where a digital character or subject resembles the appearance in your uploaded photo.
– Producing realistic lip sync or facial expressions that match your audio (if the feature supports it).
– Applying visual styles, transformations, or effects to your image that may include your face.
We do not use face data for:
– Identity verification or user authentication.
– Face recognition across different users or external datasets.
– Building biometric profiles or databases.
6.3 Sharing of face data
Face data (in the form of your images and any intermediary or generated media) may be shared only with:

strictly for the purpose of generating or editing the content you requested.
We do not sell your face data. We do not share face data with advertisers or data brokers.

On our side:
– We do not store your original photos or audio files on our own backend servers unless clearly stated for a specific feature. In most cases, such files remain on your device and are transmitted securely to our AI backend only when you request processing.
– On your device, we may store:
– Links or identifiers to generated media (e.g., video URLs),
– Basic metadata such as titles, aspect ratio, and creation dates, so you can later view, download, or delete the results from inside the Apps.
On the side of our AI media processing providers and infrastructure partners (including WaveSpeed AI):
– Your uploads may be stored temporarily only as needed to perform processing and deliver the requested output.
– We require our processors to delete or anonymize personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose of providing the service.

7. Legal Bases for Processing
Where required by applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR), we process your personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:

– Media content and related metadata stored on your device remain there until you delete them from within the Apps or uninstall the Apps.
